‘It Takes The Whole Day’ is a slice of looped pop perfection. Warm keys, horns and orchestral flourishes envelop the northern soul-esque vocal until it reaches its crescendo and leaves you wanting to skip straight back to the beginning and do it all again.

But don’t do that because ‘In Shadows’ is the second track here, its crunchy drums perfectly offset against beautiful piano and synth melodies, drawing you in to its soul / funk finale with horn and vocal flourishes.
